Compost Happens!

Governing Magazine published a relevant article regarding compostable organics management options for municipalities. The article shares real-life examples of various successful programs in cities such as San Francisco, Seattle, and Boulder. And the reasons for undertaking these programs, both economic and environmental, are addressed.

Reducing waste in the first place, and then properly recycling the remaining organic discards is ultimately important to the health and welfare of our communities, our planet, and ourselves.
